Pattern Rabbit is the creative outlet of Textile Surface Designer Laura Dobson where she expresses her love of pattern, colour & handmade craft through illustration and a variety of techniques. Laura's designs are inspired by nature from wildlife to florals.

As a Textile Designer Laura has a strong passion for print techniques and uses methods of printmaking including Screen Print to decorate fabric and wooden accessories. Digital print has a key role within Pattern Rabbit's textile collection; showcasing original designs and artwork on organic fabrics which Laura then makes into textile accessories. Laura loves experimenting with ways to apply her designs to a range of surfaces and products which lead her to the art of Pyrography; burning designs & illustrations into wooden items in her own unique style. Mixed Media techniques are a strong part of Pattern Rabbit's products as Laura often combines different techniques within one piece. Decoupage, Die-cutting & Marbling are some of the other crafts Laura uses to create her original pieces.
